Information Technology Project Manager

Echelon Studios, Inc.; Castaic, California

  • Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Work closely with stakeholders to determine the requirements for the project and establish clear goals and expectations for the project.
  • Developing and managing project plans. Create a project plan that outlines the timeline, milestones, budget, and resources needed to complete various projects related to film distribution and copyrights management.
  • Managing project timelines. Ensuring that the project stays on track and is completed within the designated timeline. Assigning tasks to team members and ensure that everyone is clear on their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Managing and identifying potential risks and issues to the project, and developing contingency plans to address and mitigate those risks.
  • Communicating with stakeholders. Provide regular updates on the project’s progress to stakeholders to ensure that project goals and timelines are met, and expectations are managed appropriately.
  • Managing the project budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the project stays within budget.
  • Monitoring project quality. Ensuring that the project meets the company’s quality standards and that deliverables are of high quality.
  • Oversee the testing and implementation of IT systems, ensuring that they are fully functional and meet the company’s needs.
  • Managing project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and other project-related documents.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members, and conducting regular staff technology presentations and training.
  • Managing project resources, including staff, vendors, and external partners, to ensure that the project is delivered within the scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Defining project scope and objectives, and ensuring that they are aligned with the overall business strategy and goals of Echelon Studios.
  • Ensuring that project deliverables are of high quality, and meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, and ensuring that they are all delivered on-time and within budget.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the film distribution industry, and identifying opportunities to leverage them to improve the IT infrastructure and operations at Echelon Studios.

The position supervises four (4) employees: one (1) Web Developer; one (1) Graphic Designer; one (1) Video Encoder; and one (1) Video Editor.

Salary: $105,726 per year
