Submissions Open for 2025 International Film Festival

Filmmakers are invited to submit their films to the second Echelon Studios International Film Festival

Echelon Studios today announced that it is accepting submissions for the 2025 Echelon Studios International Film Festival, inviting filmmakers from around the world to submit their projects for a chance to be showcased in a premier event celebrating excellence in independent cinema.

The Echelon Studios International Film Festival is more than a platform for cinematic achievements; it’s a place for learning, empowerment, and professional growth. The program aims to support creators by educating on essential topics including the evolving business of independent film, pathways for distribution, and strategies for building an audience and sustaining a career.

The festival will take place in August 2025, spotlighting exceptional stories and innovative voices across six dynamic competition categories:

  • Best US Feature
  • Best US Short
  • Best International Feature
  • Best International Short
  • Best Documentary
  • Best Series

In addition to screenings, the Festival’s programming features panels and networking events designed to provide insight into the film industry’s latest trends and future direction. A panel of industry guests will engage in conversations around independent film distribution to encourage and inspire filmmakers, preparing them for navigating the festival circuit, and offering guidance on future projects.

Festival Director Jesse Randall remarked: “This festival is a vibrant space for the creative minds shaping our industry’s future. We’re committed to not only celebrating outstanding work but also fostering a community that helps filmmakers navigate the complexities of independent filmmaking. It’s our goal to empower creatives to reach new audiences and build sustainable careers.”

Submissions for the 2025 Festival are now open, and close on May 31. Finalists will be announced at a screening event in August.
